Hi,

I am currently benchmarking XML-RPC with different XML parsers.
XMLParser is generally very fast, but using the SimpleTreeParser
for a XML document that contains for example only one tag with a 
large amount of data (base64 encoded) the time needed is inacceptable. 
If I double the size of the document it takes five times longer.

I guess, there must be any regular expressions that are applied onto
the large text, but I am not sure.

Any hints?
