It has much more up to date packages without the risk of bugs that will cause serious crashes. Perhaps search through the web interface and compare the version of the DB you are interested in? Might I also point out that apt-get (at least in the testing tree) will support different trees. By this I mean that you can run from 'testing' and stable and it will keep track of this for you quite nicely -- AFAIK anyhow. - -- Signed, Holden Glova -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE7YQzp+mF116Lw2cQRAmaMAJ9o+ZF04eWocX62sRZx0hm5hKGGkwCdGou+ nYfipYsc2H1qRQu+AjvxsrE= =/VmG -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
