Hi, I noticed that Ruby CVS included some http related modules. I wonder if a wrapper for W3's libwww package (http://www.w3.org/Library/) has ever been considered to be a viable approach to make available a relatively complete Internet package for Ruby in a short time. A high performance and complete Internet package could accelerate the acceptance of Ruby. (Numeric Python is one of the reasons many large institutions adopted Python, which, at first thought, was impossible for demanding tasks) A side-benefit of it would be that it is well documented, which would save Ruby developers plenty of time. Thanks -Ted
