The book is an excellent beginning and a decent reference, but I wish that the topics were introduced in a more logical manner (from simple to complex, or essential to might-never-use). In a metaphor, if the topics are 1 (easy) through 10 (complex), I think the book reads like this: 1,3,5,3,4,7,2,6,8,7,6,9... I'm ready for the Ruby for Dummies book.
