[ruby-talk:16686] opening db files made by apache dbmmanage

how can i open db files (db build in in c library under freebsd, 1.8 i
think) that are created with the apache dbmmanage script with ruby?
SDBM and DBM extensions see no data. BDB says it is wrong format.
