Dear All,

	are there any links on optimising Ruby applications?

I look for rather general pitfalls and how to best avoid it, like i.e.
string concatenating  (calling 1000 times str+="hallo"+str is much faster 
using <<)

I'd happily assemble the results & post back a summary to the group.
