Hi,

I've just discovered the open-source NetBeans IDE (a.k.a.Sun Microsystems'
Forte for Java) at netbeans.org. It is written in Java so it is portable and
Sun make big claims about it being very easy to swap out the Java specific
code in favour of other languages. Does anyone know if NetBeans for Ruby is
possible/probable? Just going by what I have gleaned from the website it has
great potential. I was particularly impressed by the screenshot of the IDE
running in Japanese on MacOS X
