Hi. I've been trying to compile and run the Ruby/FLTK binding on my Agenda VR3d PDA. (Thanks to Vanya Sergeev who provided me with a binary of "miniruby".) However, when I've compiled and linked fltk.so for the Agenda, I get the following error when I try to run any script that requires the fltk binding: in `require': /usr/lib/libfltk.so.1: undefined symbol: resize__9Fl_Widgetiiii - ./fltk.so (LoadError) I've tried making sure it links up against the exact same libfltk.so.1 that is on the agenda. I had some similar errormessages relating to things in the stdc++, which disappeared when I did the same with regards to libstdc++ The latest version of Ruby/FLTK I've tried, is the 20000831 version, from the first of the following places I found it: - http://kt-www.jaist.ac.jp/~ttate/lang/ruby/ruby-fltk.html - http://jewel.jaist.ac.jp:8000/~ttate/info/language/ruby/ruby-fltk.html However, I worry that perhaps there are too many differences in FLTK between 1.0.7 (which the Ruby/FLTK readme mentions) and 1.0.9 (which the VR3 uses AFAIK) The miniruby binary is based on version 1.6.3 (2001-03-19). I'd be grateful for any hints on the matter, since I then would be able to write GUI apps for PDA in Ruby, as well as writing the source code on my PDA :-) [CC to Takaaki Tateishi] -- <[ Kent Dahl ]>================<[ http://www.stud.ntnu.no/~kentda/ ]> )____(stud.techn.;ind..data)||(softwareDeveloper.at(Trustix))_( /"Opinions expressed are mine and not those of my Employer, "\ ( "the University, my girlfriend, stray cats, banana fruitflies, " ) \"nor the frontal lobe of my left cerebral hemisphere.
