For what it's worth, I agree with Matz here.

I think the drawing is clever, combining Japanese and western
idioms. However, I think there's a potential for a considerable amount
of fallout from it.

The character is strong, and would make a great guide in an animated
Shockwave introduction to Ruby. I'd feel wrong using the image as a
logo.

It is a great character, though. Let's not lose her.
