What you need to do is get the Scintilla and Scite sources from www.scintilla.org. You implement support for a new language by writing a C module and linking it in. They will end up with a version of Scite (using either Windows or Gtk) that supports Ruby. We then lift the new module and put it into BlackAdder. I understand there is at least some support for Ruby already in Scite, so there should be something there that you can work from and not have to work from scratch. Also keep in mind that I'm just regurgitating the information from my programmers, I don't have any personal knowledge of the inner workings of scintilla. Thanks for the assistance.
