Hi,

I was browsing the older messages from last year, and
decided to request the features discussed in ruby-talk
messages 2865, 2872, and 2887:

Numeric#odd?
Numeric#even?
Numeric#negative?
Numeric#positive?
String#lstrip
String#rstrip

As one person said, it assists readability.
I also like how it seems to transfer some scaffolding
to the interpreter... and they seem common enough.
