I can see that...

However, speaking as someone with no authority, I hope you'll
feel specifically invited to this party.

Ruby has learned from Perl and may continue to do so. And by the
time Perl6 is a reality, it *may* have learned from Ruby also.

But if there is one thing I have learned over years, it is that there will
never be "One Language to rule them all... (in the land of Mordor
where shadows lie)."

Different tasks, different personalities, different tools.
