Here's a question (stupid, maybe):

Does anyone know if ruby is thread safe? Meaning can multiple interpreters
be run using threads and they won't stomp upon each other.
If not is there anyone who can give me an idea of how complex this would be
to implement. The ultimate idea would be to allow ruby to be
embedded into other multi-threaded applications and have ruby not have to
spawn a whole new version of itself every time a thread inside
the host application needed some ruby scripts interpreted.

Thanks,
Gene Rogers
