  Takaaki Tateishi has a plan to merge a new version of Ruby/DL
  to Ruby 1.9.  The merging, which includes directory structure
  of the library and multi-platform support, is in progress with
  help from Matz, Nobu and U.Nakamura.


[ruby-dev:25496] ruby 1.8.2 feature is completed

  Sheepman finally has gathered up information about feature
  changes from 1.8.1 to 1.8.2 to a wiki page (in Japanese),
  using CVS logs and archives of mailing lists.

[ruby-dev:25587] imported Oniguruma 3.5.4

  A new version of regexp engine Oniguruma, version 3.5.4  was
  imported into Ruby CVS.  This release includes patches to
  hash.c and st.[ch].
