Welcome change: for the 2-series, I had written a pre-filter to
deal with the old, default behavior.  Jamis: you no longer need
to have a single line for each paragraph.

I'm 19 tests into a (hack) LaTeX port of 3.0.1.  I'll patch to 3.0.2.
