FYI: The "Who's minister of propaganda this week?" thread on comp.lang.ruby/python/smalltalk (which seems to have dropped
out in *.ruby but continues on in *.python) had/has some interesting stuff
on unit testing versus static typing and other issues of interest to Ruby.
(It seems unfortunate that a rare and natural opportunity for civil
Ruby/Python discussion about a common cause so quickly became unilateral.
While it only takes one reply to break the link, it likewise only takes
one reply to re-establish it, in case anyone has anything useful they want
to contribute. Maybe that wouldn't be a good idea at this point following
some dozen or so python-only posts. However, this might be something to
keep in mind for next time.)
