Dave, you're speaking my (emerging) mind! :-) Great words!

It reminded me of Richard Gabriel's excellent paper "Mob Software: The
Erotic Life of Code" talking about the same things in general.

Ruby is worth the conservatism and chaordic snippets of code on the
mailing-list is worth Ruby.... ;-)
