Thanks for the answer but what really interested me is Regexp support
(i.e. to have . and \w match diacritics). Do you think it would be
difficult to add to Ruby (I'm not familiar with Ruby's internals...)?

Anyway, thanks for Ruby. My switch from Perl to Ruby reminds me of my
switch from Elm to Mutt. See it, look into it a bit then switch in a matter
of days...
