Hi,

In message "[ruby-talk:11804] Same method name in same class with diff params?"
    on 01/03/01, "Guerry A. Semones" <gsemones / primary.net> writes:

|having args from the array inside of the method? Or perhaps,
|bar(a=nil) - or some other default - for the bar() case?

Yes. Method overriding may cause serious troubles in dynamic language
like Ruby (unless it uses multiple dispatch like Dylan).
