He contributed a Ruby Class for th SHA-1 algorithm (similar in concept
to the
RUby md5 class) to the Ruby Application Archive.  Unfortunately, the
listed
download site will not respond to connection requests, and is probably
off-line.
Similarly, his listed email address no longer works.  Am hoping that he
might
visit comp.lang.ruby occasionally, or that one of you might know him, or
know
how I can reach him.  Thanks alot for any help you can offer.
