I'm not sure what I would call myself as far as Ruby
experience goes.  I know the language fairly decently,
done some work with Rails, IOWA, and even Arrow.

But one thing that I do not understand is what is the
difference between GEMs and RPAs?  Most everything I
get right now is through GEMs.  Does RPA have any
advantages?  Should I be using both?

GEMs works well for me.  It puts a nice stub in
site_ruby and pulls in the latest version
automatically.  Does RPA do the same thing?  Looking
at the examples, it appears so.

So what are the advantages of one over the other?
