Sorry Hal, but I make my mail client put the most recent emails
at the bottom ;-).  It helps me see the order in which things arrived.

I will admit though, I wasn't used to quoting people underneath
their posts (unless I was answering many points and interleaving).

But I can see its value now, as long as only the most necessary
portions are retained.  Quoting afterwards is also helpful to 
keep track of the thread, since date-time stamps and ruby-talk 
numbering doesn't quite make up for the strange delays which are
a side-effect of the internet email system. Thus, this

It isn't too hard for me to do it because my system makes it easy.

I think you are being forced to cut-n-paste stuff into your email
and as a result you are being terribly inconvenienced.  But I doubt
that too many others are in that situation.  

What email client are you using? (Don't answer that ;-)
