hi
i hav located the problem i had with ruby-mysql
i try the following:
/ruby-mysql-0.2.4 # ruby test.rb localhost user password test
connect......../mysql.rb:99:in `initialize': No such file or directory -
/tmp/mysql.sock (Errno::ENOENT)
         from ./mysql.rb:99:in `new'
         from ./mysql.rb:99:in `real_connect'
         from ./mysql.rb:91:in `initialize'
         from ./mysql.rb:1084:in `new'
         from ./mysql.rb:1084:in `connect'
         from ./t/00connect.rb:1
         from test.rb:23:in `load'
         from test.rb:23
         from test.rb:19:in `each'
         from test.rb:19

i think ruby can not find mysql.sock because it was in:
/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock not in /tmp/mysql.sock now how to tell ruby
the location or do i think wrong?
