段々と涼しく過ごしやすくなって参りました。皆様いかがお過ごしでしょうか。
さて、[ruby-core:25758] でMarc-Andreから話がありましたが、段々とメンテナが不明確なモジュールが増えてきております。
また、メンテナが明確であってもお忙しそうでどうにあまり活動的でないケースも散見します。
メンテナはライブラリのデザインの権限を持っているわけで、不活発なメンテナはRubyの開発を阻害します。

そこで、第2回、秋のメンテナ確認大会を提案いたします。

に、ライブラリの一覧がありますので、メンテナを継続なさる意志のある方はお手数ですが、noneと書かれている部分をご自分のアカウント名に書き換えてください。

参考までに、現在、公式に認知されているメンテナの一覧は

から閲覧できます。

また、今後不活発なメンテナやフェードアウトしてしまった方のライブラリを引き続きRubyの一部として開発していくことができるようにと考えまして、
メンテナ解任プロセスの提案を[ruby-core:25764]に書きました。こちらも併せてご検討ください。
