They don't copy the underlying C level structures.

new_ctx = ssl_ctx.dup
p new_ctx.ciphers
# => [["ECDHE-ECDSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384", "TLSv1.2", 256, 256], .. the default cipher suites ..]
