David, Sean isn't comparing anyone in the discussion to Nazis.

require_gems versioning supporters would the Lutheran church here
(Niemoller was a minister) - and perhaps debian packagers would be the
trade unionists.  :-)

Hm, and maybe Nazism would be the entropy of the universe with which we
all struggle by writing and packagin software... at this point the
analogy is breaking down.

Anhow, the point is that you shouldn't dismiss other peoples concerns
because they aren't your problems, and there has been a lot of that
in this thread.
