Same here. They do their job very well IMHO.

Regarding the current situation: Not that I'm really affected by this, 
but I also prefer SVN over CVS because of its better handling of 
directories, file renaming and similar things.

But I guess the final decision will be that of the people who currently 
have write access to CVS.
