Hello,

The Ruby Association is looking to give grants for development projects
related to Ruby implementations, libraries and frameworks, including
projects that improve existing software.

  http://www.ruby-assn.org/en/releases/20111025_grant.htm

If you have a good idea, please submit a proposal. However, please
note that we do not intend to fund development projects of Ruby
applications for specific purposes because the aim of this grant is to
improve Ruby and its environment.

== Grant Size

500,000 yen (JPY)

== Eligibility for applicants

Any individual or organization can submit one or more proposals.

== Selection process

The grant committee will assess the proposals, and will select two
projects from them.

== Selection criteria

Applications will be judged on the following criteria (in no particular order):

* Impact on the productivity and performance of Ruby and its environment
* Originality and creativity of the project
* Feasibility of the project

== Evaluations

Accepted applicants are required to submit two reports: the
intermediate report and the final report. The grant committee will
evaluate them.

== Copyrights and licenses of the deliverables

Accepted applicants will retain all rights of the deliverables. However,
