Issue #3768 has been updated by Thomas Sawyer. You're right, it does work. I recollect testing it, but I must have misconstrued the actual error I was getting at the time. Too long ago now to recall the details. Okay. I will write up docs on using #const_missing with BasicObject and submit it.
