Does using "usleep" or "select" work on Solaris? I.e. replace

  struct timespec req, rem;
  req.tv_sec = 0;
  req.tv_nsec = 10000000;
  nanosleep(&req, &rem);

by

  usleep(10000);

or

  struct timeval tv;
  tv.tv_sec = 0;
  tv.tv_usec = 10000;
  select(0, NULL, NULL, NULL, &tv);
