A while ago, I posted bugreports and patches about a bug in the dl/gc
interaction. This bug leads to a crash if you're not lucky. I'm not
lucky: in my case it *always* leads to a crash after a few minutes.

Related reports:
   ruby-Bugs-11859
   ruby-Bugs-11882
   ruby-Patches-13151

It happened a something like 5 MONTHS ago.

Today, I check 1.8.6p111, 1.8.6svn and 1.8svn. The patches are *not*
included in those.

To resume: the interpreter has a *reported* crashing bug, with patches
to fix it (even though the first version of 13151 was buggy, it could
have at least been reviewed) and those patches are bitrotting on
RubyForge. My problem is that my patches about the threads had *exactly*
the same treatment. They bit-rot a few months before they have been
considered.

This is frustrating. I spent quite a lot of time fixing those bugs,
which are grave functionality bugs which cannot be worked around (thread
support broken, and a standard library making the interpreter crash
...). Nothing happenned. That's sad.
