I had some free time and there was a mail on ruby-dev that might be of
some interest to non-Japanese people. Please excuse any
mistranslation.

Koichi SASADA was replying to a mail asking for the future of the
VM::InstructionSequence module: (ruby-dev:32178)

As you guessed, I intend to delete this module for the 1.9.1 release.

However, I think I will keep the C level interface. The people who are
able to use it at the C level should be able to understand its
dangerosity, or at least that what I think.

What do you think about it?

And by the way I am thinking of adding and instruction to apply
patches to bytecode.
